As the Institutional Sales Associate/Analyst, your responsibilities include prospecting, cultivating, and managing relationships with institutional clients, such as pension funds, endowments, and sovereign wealth funds and others. You will be conducting market research and analysis to identify potential clients and opportunities for business development. Additionally, preparing presentations, proposals, and marketing materials to pitch investment products and services to institutional clients. Furthermore, coordinating with internal teams, including portfolio managers and research analysts, to tailor investment solutions to meet the specific needs and objectives of institutional clients. Leveraging strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities to support the sales team in achieving revenue targets and expanding the company’s institutional client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Create own sales strategy to identify Institutions and Corporate clients
- Recommend appropriate investment products to Institutions and Corporates
- Understand competitors’ products and services to be able to counter resistance from prospects
- Develop clear and effective written proposals for prospects.
- Effectively manage new and existing clients
- Ensure sales reports are sent on time
- Effectively use technology to win clients
- Support team members to ensure Organizational goals are met
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints
Required Qualifications/Skills
- Minimum BA/BSc (2nd Class Upper) or HND (Upper Credit)
- At least 3 years’ experience in marketing Investment Products in Nigeria
- Sound knowledge of Nigerian capital and money markets
- SEC sponsored individual status will be an advantage
- A self-starter with good interpersonal skills
- Good command of written and spoken English language
- Working knowledge of MS PowerPoint and MS Word
